Training and Assessment

SHRM Australia Pty Ltd specialises in compliance based management and training. As a result the company has developed a range of training products and assessments to support clients and their staff.

SHRM Australia supports market sectors in the maintenance, security, cleaning, logistics and administration support areas.

1. SHRM training is broken up into four levels of support these being:
2. Skills assessment and training (1 hour)
3. OH&S induction training (3 hours)
4. Accredited training (Apprenticeship programs over 10 months)
5. Field training and assessment ( 1 day)

The company’s training facility holds 20 trainees, with DVD, internet facilities and all amenities, this is located at 21 Taylor Street Thornbury and there is a field office with practical exercises being conducted at Kinglake, Glenburn Road Kinglake, this is a dedicated dwelling and grounds for training.

Training topics cover:

	Contract management Hazard identification Manual handling and lifting Hazardous substances and dangerous goods PPE Hygiene and cleaning Working at heights Confined spaces Transportation Electrical works First Aid Fire and emergency services

Supervisor and Management training covers:

	Leadership Risk management compliance HR management OH&S management Sub contractor training

Practical training:

	Housekeeping Cleaning Grounds maintenance and handy work

All trainers will hold an accredited training certificate and hold a minimum of 5 years experience in their field of training.
